Teodoro Duclère was an Italian painter and lecturer, specialized in landscape art of the school of Posillipo. Duclère was one of the most significant landscape painters. He was, however, an artist much neglected by 19th-century art criticism, and on him, there is very little documentation, so much so that consistent doubts persist on the attribution and dating of his works.
