Dan Rizzie Still-life Prints
Dan Rizzie is an internationally acclaimed American artist, printmaker and painter, born in 1951, in Poughkeepsie, New York. He has created a unique iconography of the natural world in paintings, collages and prints. Known for his detailed collage work and the textural quality of his surfaces, Dan’s work is often influenced by the rhythms of the natural world and the artistic influences of his well-traveled youth. Since the mid-1970s, he has had over 90 solo exhibitions. His work is included in the permanent collections of eminent institutions, such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Parrish Art Museum, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Scottsdale Museum of Art, among many others.
