David Ruth Still-life Sculptures
American, b. 1951
David Ruth is an Oakland, California based glass sculptor that has been making large-scale cast glass sculptures and architectural features for over 30 years. Often featuring bright colors and contrasting polished surfaces with rough textures, the work has been featured in architecture, museums, and in galleries around the world. He holds degrees in History from University of California at Santa Cruz and glass from California College of the Arts. Over the years he has taught various workshops and classes in glass techniques and is considered an innovator in glass casting.to
