Kamila Gruszecka Art
Kamila Gruszecka is a Polish artist born in 1989 in Kielce, Poland. She studied under professor Leszek Misiak at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. She received her diploma in 2014. Gruszecka was shortlisted in the 13th edition of the Hestia Artistic Journey Competition. Her practice encompasses painting, drawing and textiles. The art of Gruszecka is primarily based on the depictions of the female body. As the artist emphasizes, women are both objects and subjects of her paintings. The body constitutes a sufficient vehicle for the expression of the artist’s own reflections and anxieties tied to being a woman and a mother.
