The surface of this piece is plain and unembellished. The raised flared rim is ornamented with a chased decorated gadroon style border. This fine mustard pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged domed cover surmounted with a sterling silver urn style finial. This exceptional example of vintage silverware has a fine and impressive opposing scroll sterling silver handle with a chased leaf decorated thumbpiece.
