The drama in this piece of jewelry cannot be overstated; the large scale of the exquisite chalcedony and the gorgeous movement of the carving combine for an exceptional piece of wearable art.
The chalcedony is an intense natural blue color, and it exhibits a high degree of translucency. A gorgeous diamond, set in platinum, is perfectly nestled into the carving. The removable French Polynesian gray pearl is the perfect accessory for this dramatic piece.
The hand-fabricated 18kt mounting allows this piece to be worn as a brooch, or hung from a wide variety of necklaces, including pearls.

Master American lapidary artist Steve Walters's command of his craft is fully on display in this luxuriously carved carnelian sculpture. He has coaxed exquisitely flowing flames of natural color from this gemstone, taking full advantage of the naturally variegated color of the stone. An exquisitely cut chrome diopside and a single diamond nestle into the carving; a removable Tahitian pearl drop adds movement and allure.
The hand-fabricated 18kt and platinum mounting allows this piece to be worn as a brooch, or hung from a wide variety of necklaces, including pearls. Two receivers are built into the design for incorporating separate drops into the piece of jewelry.
As with all of ART Guyon's artistic masterpieces, this jewel was designed to artfully showcase what gifted human hands can create with natural gems.
