Duane Bousfield is a fifth-generation Californian living in New York City since 1995. In 2001 Duane accepted the directorship of Wally Findlay Gallery in East Hampton, NY, and continued working with the gallery on 57th Street, NYC, for more five years. Wanting to work with more contemporary art, Duane accepted a position as Senior Art Consultant at Franklin Bowles Gallery, in SoHo, NY, where he continues to help people build art collections for their homes and estates. Jon Cornin first studied with Raphael Soyer at New York's Art Student's League and, subsequently, at the Grand Central School of Art. Using the pseudonym, CorKa, he and his wife, Zena Kavin produced cartoons for Saturday Evening Post and the New Yorker from 1941-1952. The Cornins moved to the San Francisco Bay area in 1940 and settled in Oakland. In addition to his career as a painter, Jon Cornin was also a noted teacher, respected theorist of Modernism and the author of 'Painter's Credo: Selected Notes' (Stone House Press, 1985).
