This is a vintage 1980's black cotton pique skirt suit designed by Thierry Mugler. The peplum style blazer has black and white striped upturned cuffs, collar and bows. We love that the peplum itself is lined with the same black and white stripe fabric so it shows with movement. The jacket snaps up the front and is fully lined. This stunning evening gown is strapless with a gorgeous uniquely cut bodice and a trumpet skirt that has alternating rows of velvet and satin. The dress is fully lined, with a boned bodice, and zips up the back and we estimate it to be a modern day size 2/4. We can't think of a more perfect holiday formal evening gown! Please use the measurements as a guide. We recommend that our clients take a dress they currently own that fits them well, lay it on a flat surface and measure the bust, waist and hips by doubling the flat measurement.
