Paola Calzada Prats is a Mexican architect. Graduated from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. She obtained a masters in Industrial Design by Futurarium Scuola de Arte, Architettura e Design and two specialization by the “Istituto Europeo del Design” on furniture production and interior design. While in Milan, she worked for two years as a junior architect for Matteo Thun & Partners. One of the five most important firms in Milan, Italy. Upon her return to Mexico she worked for Higuera+Sanchez (now JSA) for 5 years where she founded the Interior Design Department and later became a partner in the firm. In 2008 she opened her own studio with the idea to function as a multidisciplinary practice in which architecture, interiors, industrial design, textile design and furniture mix into a unique brand and experience-development concept.
