Wonderful Moorish style Frederick Cooper hammered copper urn or jug shaped double handled lamp with a black coolie shade. The exterior of the shade was showing some wear so we have given it a new coat of black matt paint it still may have some small imperfections. We have a fabulous table lamp by elite manufacturer Frederick Cooper to offer to you. It is large scale and comprised of a hand hammered copper urn or jug shaped body, a round black painted wood base, hand forged hammered copper and iron double handles, and a knob shaped brass finial. And it is topped with a stunning black coolie shade with an inner shade that has a black and metallic gold modeled finish. It almost gives off a bronze hue…It’s just GORGEOUS!! This table lamp is Moorish style, but it leans a bit Traditional as well. We think it will blend in beautifully in any room that needs just the right amount of elegant ambience. It’s going to be lovely on a side or end table in your sitting room, on a sofa table in your living room, or on an accent table in your bedroom.

Stunning vintage Italian modern Lucite and chrome table lamp with polished aluminum shade, chrome shaft, and solid Lucite and chrome stacked discs by Noel B.C. Italy. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The shade has a few dings & creases from use in our opinion it does not detract from its amazing look. The lamp retains its original cord with inline switch. It is in perfect working condition. There are no outstanding flaws in the lucite and there is a slight darkening in the chrome somewhat like tarnish and cleaning has not removed, but it does not detract from its over-all beauty. Robert Marcius was born in Greenville, Mississippi and he began designing and producing sculptures, jewelry, and objects d’art when he moved to New Hope, Pennsylvania in 1972. He formed a partnership with Gene Jonson, and they formed “Jonson and Marcius” and moved their business to Manhattan. During this time, he supplied Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel, and Bloomingdale's with jewelry and Karl Springer with accessories, furniture, and sculptures. After seeking out Jonson and Marcius in 1975, Lorin Marsh launched their business of an original and unique line of furniture and accessories. Cartier and Tiffany also featured items manufactured by Jonson and Marcius. During the 1980’s Marcius sold his partnership and moved his operations to North Carolina where he designed the product and direction for Casa Bique Ltd. until the early 90’s. For 4 decades he has developed and designed for such clients as Frederick Ramond, Garcia Imports, Casa Stradivari, Thomasville, Lane, Kinder- Harris, The Platt Collections, and many others. Wonderful Greek Revival large dining table with a gray & black marbleized technique laminate covered triple octagon pedestal base & an elongated octagon glass top with beveled edges Attributed to Bernhardt. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The base molding around columns has been repainted and looks beautiful. Oh. My. Goodness!!!! Look at this absolutely gorgeous Greek Revival style dining table attributed to Bernhardt!!! The base is comprised of three octagon shaped columns with a gray & black marbleized technique covered with laminate and a black painted inverted crown molding around the base of each column. The glass top is an elongated octagon shape or a rectangle with angled corners and beautiful, beveled edges. The base on the columns appears to mirror the bevel on the glass top… it’s really striking!! This table is large enough to be used as an office conference table...

They are comprised of a gorgeous chrome cantilever frame with black plastic armrests, and they wear their original awesome gray-blue and orange fleck tweed fabric with button detail on their backs and seat cushions. The fabric is cool because in different lights, it looks a little different. It’s kind of gray, kind of blue, and has little orange specs throughout… It takes on the color of what you set it with. Super stylish and super comfortable!! We say these chairs are mostly modern, but they would definitely blend in beautifully with Art Deco, mid-century modern, or Bauhaus styles. Curtis Jere which is not a single artist but is a nom-de-plume for a group of artists working for Artisan House and well known for their phenomenal jewelry, metal sculptures, and collectibles. And this abstract rearing horse is a perfect example of their remarkable pieces!! Unlike other rearing horse sculptures, this one has a single back and front leg… it appears to have been cast this way and we think he is extraordinary. Sculptural, functional, and comfortable! The Series 7 chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1955 and is an icon in modern furniture history. The Fritz Hansen website states that the chair is made from 9 layers of pressure molded veneer for strength, flexibility, and durability despite its slender form. This one was made in 1993 and it is comprised of a molded black painted plywood seat which is uniquely shaped for the human body. Ergonomically enjoyable!! It has the chrome four-star leg base with chromed hooded wheel casters. It’s incredibly versatile, with unique character and unmatchable comfort. It is manually adjustable in height, and it swivels! It will make the perfect office or desk chair in your Scandinavian Modern or mid-century modern style home office or den.
Fritz Hansen was founded in 1872, when Fritz Hansen, a Danish carpenter, founded his own furniture company and in 1915 introduced his first chair in steam bent wood. In 1934, Fritz Hansen began his collaboration with Arne Jacobsen resulting in some of the famous, classic icons of Danish Design including the “Ant” in 1952, the Series 7 in 1955, the Grand Prix in 1957, the Swan in 1958, and the Egg in 1958. Other famous collaborations have resulted in Piet Hein’s super-elliptical table from 1968 and in 1982 Fritz Hansen acquired the rights to a major part of Poul Kjaerholm’s furniture collection. Fabulous Scandinavian Modern teak rocker model 120 designed by Ole Wanscher for France & Son and sold by John Stuart Co. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use & wear. The sprung cushions will need new padding & the original brown nubby fabric has no rips or holes but has faded and will need reupholstered, it has been priced accordingly. Has a couple of repairs where the screws were put all the way through leg assembly at some point in their lives. We have repaired & replaced hardware to match. One hole was plugged, and the plug is still slightly visible. It has been sanded, stained & a teak oil finish. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Comprised of 2-pieces a top hutch & a bottom buffet in a dark cherrywood, woven wicker basket weave or caned door fronts, brass toned pulls, & slim steel legs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are nicks on the left side of the buffet edge toward the front. Stiffener has been added underneath buffet as the cabinet had sagged in the middle making doors uneven. Stiffener corrected that issue. Please see photos and zoom in for details. In 1959, the Heywood Wakefield “Contessa” slogan was "Wood for warmth and grace ... steel for strength and rigidity." "Furniture of Slender Elegance." And does this China cabinet ever fit that description. The Contessa line features a darker cherrywood, gold or brass toned accents, and slim steel legs. This cabinet has 2 pieces. A bottom buffet that features brass toned pulls that open two sets of double doors. There are three drawers on the right side with a silverware tray in the top drawer. The left side is open storage. The top hutch features two rolling side doors with woven wicker basket weave, or caned, door fronts and three shelves in the center. The whole cabinet stands on slim steel legs and exudes mid-century modern magnificence! This awesome, versatile china cabinet or buffet will look amazing whether you place it in the dining room, living room, study, or the kitchen. It is adaptable enough to blend right in whether your design style leans to Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern, industrial, southwestern, or modern country.
In 1897, two prominent furniture companies, Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company merged and created Heywood Brothers & Wakefield Company; the name would be shortened to Heywood-Wakefield in 1921. The new company rose to popularity in the 1930s, 40s, and 50s with its solid wood, Art Deco-inspired, mid-century modern furniture. In 1992, South Beach Furniture Company acquired the rights to the Heywood-Wakefield name.
