His paintings focus on human figures within the urban environment, often exposing the transfiguration of his subjects as they travel through the complex light of city streets or summer parks, as shown in two of his early works.

Stephen Schulz (American, b. 1948) is an artist who has lived and worked in Fresno and Santa Cruz, California, and Cedar Grove, New Jersey. He has studied privately with Julie Connell, Jan Daniels, Michele Faia, Elle Fielder, Sal Pecoraro, Susan Stover, and Chris Volpe.
Artist’s Statement:
“My painting and artistic expression opens the doorway into an unconscious and creative world, where an uninhibited expression can take place, as one becomes immersed without the perception of time.
Painting and design started it. From the beginning the process of transforming materials into art has struck me as a magical alchemy and, over the years, that mysterious process has had its hold on me, leading me from hobby to art. The creative process fills me with a sense of wonder and has proven a most amenable vehicle for transforming inner vision to outer reality.
I paint from the inside out. Though I work quite deliberately, consciously employing both traditional and innovative techniques, my unconscious is the region of the most fertile of creative soil.
I love working with a full complement of colors but often find my design direction working within the narrow spectrum of black and white, shadow and light. Some of my early inspiration comes from the New York School and artists such as Franz Kline and Jackson Pollock. Their ideas and techniques have helped to free my mind to explore areas of the unconscious that aren’t restricted by the world of right and wrong, good and bad. The journey continues and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to explore this exquisite world of the creative process.”

Zamy Steynovitz was born in Liegnitz, Poland in 1951and at a very early age he aspired to be a painter. He won first prize in an art competition for children before immigrating to Israel in 1957.
Formally educated at the Art School in Tel-Aviv and the Royal Academy in London, he completed his studies and began artistic pursuits in earnest. Zamy established his place in the art world after displaying his work in one-man exhibitions and art fairs around the world.
Zamy’s art displays chromatic and thematic richness and his choice of subjects has been strongly influenced by Jewish tradition and folklore. Additionally, his work presents general themes such as Paris cafes, still lives, flowers, circuses and landscapes.
In the early stages of his work, he used rich pastels and light brush strokes. When he visited South America in the early 1980’s, his work reflected his new surroundings and were further enhanced by local brightness and colorfulness. His art gained chromatic power; the palette became richer in tones, the textures thicker, and the background darker and more colorful. Together with these changes, the thematic persistence in his creation was maintained, allowing him to develop into a sensitive and mature artist.

Red Grooms (born Charles Rogers Grooms on June 7, 1937) is an American multimedia artist best known for his colorful pop-art constructions depicting frenetic scenes of modern urban life. Grooms was given the nickname "Red" by Dominic Falcone (of Provincetown's Sun Gallery) when he was starting out as a dishwasher at a restaurant in Provincetown and was studying with Hans Hofmann.
Grooms was born in Nashville, Tennessee during the middle of the Great Depression. Red Grooms came of age in the shadow of the Abstract Expressionists. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, then at Nashville's Peabody College. In 1956, Grooms moved to New York City, to enroll at the New School for Social Research. A year later, Grooms attended a summer session at the Hans Hofmann School of Fine Arts in Provincetown, Massachusetts. There he met experimental animation pioneer Yvonne Andersen, with whom he collaborated on several short films. Grooms follows in the tradition of William Hogarth and Honoré Daumier, who were canny commentators on the human condition. In 1969, Peter Schjeldahl compared Grooms to Marcel Duchamp, because both embodied "a movement of one man that is open to everybody."
In the spring of 1958, Grooms, Yvonne Andersen and Lester Johnson each painted twelve-foot by twelve-foot panels, which they erected with telephone poles on a parking lot adjacent an amusement park in Salisbury, MA. Inspired by artist-run spaces such as New York's Hansa Gallery and Phoenix, and Provincetown's Sun Gallery, Grooms and painter Jay Milder opened the City Gallery in Grooms' second-floor loft in the Flatiron District. When Phoenix refused to show Claes Oldenburg, Grooms and Milder dropped out of Phoenix and City Gallery presented Oldenberg's first New York exhibition, as well as that of Jim Dine. Other artists who showed at City Gallery include Stephen Durkee, Mimi Gross (daughter of Chaim Gross and Red Grooms wife), Bob Thompson, Lester Johnson, and Alex Katz. Grooms never developed the detached stance of such Pop Art practitioners as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein or James Rosenquist. Instead he painted his own life, and became, literally, an actor on the stage of life -- in this case the art-as-life "happenings" of the downtown New York scene. Britell was the recipient of the 1985 artist residency by Dartmouth College and has exhibited widely and with success, including in New York, Massachusetts and Italy.

Andrzej Malinowski was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1947. He worked as artist, painter, graphic designer, illustrator, and poster creator. He resides and works in France.
In his youth, Andrzej Malinowski drew inspiration from the works of Vermeer and Rembrandt. In 1973, he graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the Illustration Department. After obtaining his diploma, he moved to Paris, where he continues to live and create. In 1982, he was granted French citizenship.
During the initial period of his stay in France, Malinowski was engaged in artistic direction, creating audiovisual presentations, television programs, graphics, illustrations, and posters. During this time, he won awards in the field of posters and illustrations. In 1977, he received the First Prize for the poster for the film The Exorcist at the Deauville Film Festival, as reported, among others, by French newspaper Le Parisien.
Andrzej Malinowski collaborated with the most prominent film directors. Those include:
