Japanese Porcelain Blue and Turquoise Striped Deep Bowl by Atsushi Miyanishi

About the Item

Exceptionally fine Japanese porcelain blue and turquoise striped Studio Vase by Atsushi Miyanishi. This stunning contemporary bowl is a statement piece all on it's own. With sky blue stripes under a cobalt blue enamel over-glaze and a gently rippling rim, it is both elegant and modern. A prize addition to a collection or a stand out piece for a sleek modern interior. Atsushi Miyanishi (b1954) has exhibited globally and his work is in the collection of the Smithsonian's Arthur M Sackler Gallery. Artists signature is on the base of the piece and also on the original wooden box.
