Large Polychrome Painted Bronze Sculpture of a Young Horse Riding Napoleon

Impressive size and highly decorative, French bronze sculpture.
If you are looking for a work of art with both historical and decorative value then this large bronze sculpture could be perfect for you. Riding his marvelously sculpted horse is young general Napoleon Bonaparte. Both he and his horse are beautifully polychrome painted and their perfectly correct body postures too reveil the talent of the artist who hand-created this large sculpture. Mind you, with 50 pounds lbs, this sizable and thick bronze eyecatcher also literally is a heavy-weight. It will easily outlive all of us, remaining available for future generations to enjoy also. Image 13 shows you the artist's signature, but unfortunately (for us) we are unable to 'decipher' it. This bronze looks great on a side table, but no matter where you put this striking sculpture on display, it will never fail to impress. We think it dates from the second half of the 20th century and if you already have a place in mind for it then it could be flying your way soon. This bronze is great value for money.
