About the Item

Earth signs- Zodiac Plate Series is a set of elegant porcelain plate, designed by Piero Fornasetti for Perugia in 1965. Good conditions except for the plate depicting Taurus that has glue marks because some parts of the plate have been stuck following a break. Black and white ceramic Fornasetti wall plates, decorated with gilded insert. The three plates depict the water signs of Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo Marked on the back with the description of the series, and the Fornasetti logo. "Serie Zodiaci - Piatto specialmente eseguito da Piero Fornasetti per Perugia, Via Hoepli Milano per il 1965 - Fornasetti - Milano- Made in Italy". The plate is decorated with the zodiac sign in the center and with words that describe the characteristics of the sign itself.
