Bernadotte Thermo Mug Set, 2 Pcs

About the Item

A beautiful example of Scandinavian design, these white porcelain thermo mugs combine both form and function whilst retaining a cool and contemporary aesthetic. The fine grooves on the surface reference early Art Deco style and give a minimalist decoration but at the same time allow the user to grip the mug safely. Meanwhile, the double layer of the mug keeps the contents warm whilst not burning your hand. Swedish royal prince Sigvard Bernadotte was perhaps Georg Jensen’s very first design star. His work displays an appreciation of craftsmanship combined with modern innovation and he was credited with starting the house’s transition from Art Nouveau into a more functionalist, Scandinavian sensibility. His timeless pieces have become the inspiration for the Bernadotte collection of tableware. The thermo mugs come in sets of two and are made of pure white porcelain.
