Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Painted Iron Railroad Sign

About the Item

Rare and historical Folk Art iron railroad sign from a Pennsylvania Station. Of impressive size and very well crafted, with an incredible age patina, a Museum Quality piece of American Folk Art. A flat openwork piece with all the details of an antique locomotive including a bell and a light and cow catcher on the front. With two cylindrical attachments on the front. Measures: L 68", H 24 1/2", 1.75” (attached wood block at base). Condition: All original condition with expected signs of weathering and age in worn paint and some rusty patches.
