Gorgeous vintage Dallas E. John limited edition Imperial Mates & Military Macaws hand signed fine art serigraph parrots professionally framed by Artworks. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There is a small flaw on the inside of the glass lower right-hand corner of one of the pieces. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Military Macaws is #144 of 200 and Imperial Mates is #195 of 225. They have been professionally matted and framed in gorgeous black wood frames by Artworks on March 15th, 2000, in Wichita, Kansas. They are both hand signed limited edition fine art serigraphs by Dallas E. John. He is well known for his intricate detail, rich color, and fabulous textures, and these two parrot themed serigraphs are perfect examples of his impeccable talents. The depth and detail in their stunning facial expressions, grasping agile toes, and bright colorful feathers almost give the parrots a three-dimensional appearance. Dallas E. John was born on June 29, 1945, in Illinois. He began his artistic involvement while in Berkley by illustrating his own research reports and newspaper articles about planning. He spent time traveling through South & Central America and upon his return to the United States he started a graphic design art profession. In his spare time, he would create original artwork which included silk screen. He is well known today for his rich colors and textured works.
