1981 Madame Gres Haute Couture Silk Taffeta Skirt & Blouse Ensemble w/Shoes
About the Item
A 1981 Madame Gres haute couture dark scarlet silk taffeta skirt and blouse ensemble with matching high-heeled shoes size 6 1/2. Features the iconic Mme Gres gathered/balloon sleeve, shiny round button closures down center front, neck ties and a mini-peplum detail at the waist. The full skirt comes with a black taffeta petticoat with quilted, scarlet silk taffeta trim at the hem. Also included in the photos of this listing is the original sketch for the ensemble - which came in a printed fabric as well. In very good to excellent condition with a handful of very hard to see marks - which are hidden either by the folds of the skirt or located at the interior. There is no size tag so please consult measurements.
