Wicker Ball Shaped Handbag With Gold Handle, 1960's
About the Item
Adorable 1960's coated wicker handbag with a spherical silhouette and twisted gold metal handle. The kisslock closure opens to reveal a vinyl lined interior. The base is outfitted with plastic tab feet and vinyl hinges. Perfect vintage accessory for Spring and Summer looks. A fun fact ... the handbag came from the Atlanta estate of a fashionable woman who once lived in Hollywood and worked for Lucille Ball and Desilu Productions.
CONDITION
Very good condition. Appears rarely used. There is a little darkened patina to the metal hardware from age and a light pink mark at the side of the bag which is very subtle but can be seen in photograph 8.
MEASUREMENTS
The handbag measures 7" wide x 7" tall x 6" deep. The handle measures 10" from end to end providing for a 3.5" drop. Due to the ball shape and diminutive size, the bag is not well suited for cell phones so you will need to leave the tech devices at home or take a date with a pocket.
