Extremely rare Samurai naginata saya scabbard with original silk cover. Naginata scabbards are seen time to time on the market, however to still have original silk cover in relatively good shape is extremely rare. Wood with kuro nuri laquer finish . Fine original condition. With some expected minor abrasions due to a very significant age as seen on the photos. Some expected wears on the corners, minor joint cracks etc . Some tears on silk .
