19th Century, Chinese Export Blue & White Armorial Pierced Platter

Chinese Export, late 18th to early 19th century. An antique porcelain platter with a blue enameled edge, chestnut basket piercing between edge and recession, a gold and blue intertwining ribbon surrounding a wonderful central armorial medallion. Provenance: From a Cambridge Massachusetts estate of a Harvard professor.
