19th Century Japanese Meiji Period Imari Charger

About
This handsome Japanese Porcelain charger dating from the Meiji era (1868-1912) is boldly hand painted with deep rich blue and cinnabar enamel with unusual green accents. The platter features a blue center medallion, various other designs and includes three cranes or 'Tancho' a symbol of fidelity, good luck,love and long life. The bottom is decorated with a graceful blue design.
