A Japanese Satsuma koro and cover, Meiji period
Of globular form and raised on three short feet, the domed pierced cover surmounted by a seated shishi, the body decorated with the seven lucky gods gathered in a landscape with auspicious objects.
Marked on base: "Zakuro En’.
Condition
Overall Condition Lid restored and missing parts. Koro perfect. Size 160x210mm DXH Approx.
