Description A very nicely decorated kosometsuke plate with a rare scene of a scholar and attendant reaching a city. The lower boats shows some fishermen in boats and waves. The border has fans and geometric designs. Underglaze blue enamels. Keeping save Box included Symbolism A traveller in a landscape arriving at a city wall. Symbolizing a long journey of life.
