Antique Meiji period Wucai style hand painted porcelain jar and cover - featuring flowering branches of multicolor blossoms and leaves - all on a white ground with pale blue rim to the jar and lid - unglazed foot rim and base - unsigned - Japan - early 20th century.
Excellent antique condition - old minor rim chip and repair (as photographed) - signs of age and use.
Size / dimensions - medium - 5 1/8" (13.0 cm.) diameter x 5 7/8" (15.0 cm.) high.
