Antique Rose Mandarin Chinese Export Porcelain Moon Flask
About the Item
A fine antique Chinese porcelain moon flask.
In the Rose Mandarin pattern (with a very green palette bordering on Famille Verde).
With a flattened circular body having two cartouches to either side with medieval warfare scenes of men & horses.
With two applied figural dragon gilt porcelain handles to either shoulder.
The body is gilt throughout with extensive painted pink and green floral devices. There are also white cartouches with flowers to the body, foot, and neck.
Simply a wonderful antique Chinese moon flask!

It is in overall fair, as-pictured, used estate condition with no repairs.
Condition Details:
The body has a lean to one side (as visible in the photos), chips & losses to one dragon handle, wear to the enamel decoration, a few firing flaws and open bubbles in the glaze here & there, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The body has a lean to one side. One dragon handle has noticeable losses to both legs of one of its sides.
