Mashiko Ware Vase with Black Glaze with Brown Undertones
The Clay in the Region is a pure form of Clay rich in silicic acid and iron which produces the Deep Color, Highlighted by a Glaze which brings-out the Richness of Colors. Mashiko Ware is a "Wabi-Sabi" - traditional Japanese Aesthetics and everyday ware/use, along with form and function. It has been recognized as a National and Traditional Craft in Japan, located in Tochigi Prefecture.
