Chinese Export Snuff Bottle porcelain with roosters, signed to base Circa 1940

About the Item

This is a good quality Chinese snuff bottle, made from porcelain, circa 1950. The cylindrical bottle has a tall narrow neck. The main decoration depicts two painted cockerels (or roosters) in a farm yard setting, with a fence and foliage. The stopper is cone-shaped glazed porcelain. The base is signed in red, probably by the enameller.
