About the Item
A Khmer vase transformed in to a table lamp. Of baluster shape with an attractive brown yellow ocker glaze.
Dating from the 15th-16th century this vase is situated at the end of the Khmer culture and reminiscent of one of the most mythical Southeast Asian cultures going back to the 9th century. With their unique mix of shamanism, Hinduism and Buddhism they created a culture of beauty which still fascinates.
