About

This is a very decorative, large, hand painted, Chinese porcelain Floor Vase dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920. The vase has a baluster shape with a flared open neck rim, with four climbing foo dogs at the neck, two either side. The vase is beautifully hand enameled, over-glaze, in a good free flowing style and set against a white glaze. It is decorated with four large dragons around the central section with two further dragons around the neck, set among clouds, all between different border patterns, with a ruji head border around the rim and framed lotus panel border around the base rim. There is a six character seal mark in red to the base. This is a large 23 inch tall heavy vase having an unpacked weight of over 5 Kg. A beautiful very decorative piece of Chinese porcelain.
