Dish on foot ring with a flat, underglaze blue. With lovely scene of ducks in a water scene. Marked at base. Lotus flowers. This unusual dish is an interesting piece.     Blue and white octagonal export plate decorated in the centre with a stylized spray of lotus flower, bordered by lotus petals enclosing lotus flowers on a scroll-work ground. This design was used in Chinese armorial porcelain, for an illustrated pair of plates with arms of Elias de Haze and Sara Sonmans see Howard & Ayers, China for the West, Vol. II, p. 444, pl. 450.
