Pair of Old or Antique Chinese Baluster Form Prunus or Hawthorne Pattern Vases

About the Item

A fine complementary pair of Chinese porcelain vases. In the baluster form. Painted with blue underglaze decoration in the Hawthorne pattern with prunus sprigs and a brushstroke background. Simply wonderful Chinese porcelain! Date: Early to Mid-20th Century or earlier. Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details: There are some typical open glaze bubbles from the firing here and there. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements: Height: ca. 10 in. Diameter: ca. 4 in.
