About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of circa 1880-1900 Chinese Export Bergère side chairs with hand painted and lacquered finish
A very good looking and decorative pair of chairs, they are a good light colour, quite often these pieces were ebonised and black furniture can be tricky to place well in a home. The finish is original, distressed on places, nothing you wouldn’t expect due to the age, they look full of charm and character in any setting
Condition wise, they have been lightly cleaned waxed and polishing, they are 100% solid and stable
