Antique Japanese Meiji Bronze Mirror 19th Century

About the Item

An exceptional and stunning Japanese bronze handled mirror within a fitted black lacquered case. The mirror is polished to one side with the other side moulded in relief with wading birds and a turtle on a shore with a large fruiting tree. The mirror has a moulded signature mark to one side and a bamboo covered handle. The mirror has a fitted black lacquered case with a scrolling vine pattern.
