Pair of Antique Japanese Bronze Candlesticks with Coiled Dragons
About the Item
A fine pair of antique Japanese bronze candlesticks.
Each decorated with an applied, coiled dragon to its elongated thin neck below an everted lip and candle cup and above a suppressed ball foot and base. Each dragon with highly detailed hammered decoration.
Each candlestick has a mottled dark chocolate brown patina with areas of rubbing to the patina and spots of green oxidation throughout.
Simply a wonderful pair of antique Japanese candlesticks!

They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition.
Condition Details:
With rubbing to the patina and spots of green oxidation throughout and some remnants of wax to the candle cups. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
