Vintage Chinese Miao Tribe Hat with 6 Silvered Birds and 40 Flowers

About the Item

A beautiful hand made Miao tribe hat with silvered metal ornaments. The hand made hat is covered with embroidered bands. The prominent crown is decorated with 6 hand made phoenixes, among which three holding dangling fish in their mouths. The birds have long dramatic tails which are embossed with patterns of feather. A total of 40 flowers detailed with stamens and flexible stems creates the feeling of joy and abundance. Fabric part of the hat is 7" wide.
