Vintage Chinese Republic Period Cloisonné Bowl, Early 20th Century

About
An exceptional and finely decorated vintage Chinese Republic period cloisonné bowl decorated with panels containing grotesque masks. The rounded and heavily made bowl stands on a narrow rounded foot with a shaped rim with a gilded finish to the edge and foot rim. The bowl is decorated with four panels in brightly coloured enamels on a turquoise ground set with a finely floral design wired dark blue ground. The pattern is repeated to the inside of the bowl, the inside bowl with further abstract patterns to a panel in bottom. The bowl is not signed.
