Dazzling Chinese export lacquered four-panel coromandel screen featuring a flora and fauna waterscape with stylized cranes. The carved lacquer panels are embellished with vivid colors of natural pigments on an amazing gold leaf square ground. The panels are supported by square legs with patinated brass clad feet. The opposite side is decorated with a stark bamboo landscape having birds and flowers. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. The lacquer panels are heavy and solid conjoined with modern hardware.
