19th century Japanese Meiji period six-panel screen depicting a serene water landscape with ducks and songbirds amid Momiji (red maple) hibiscus, and morning glory. Made in the Nihonga school style decorated with gold flecks. Beautifully crafted with delicate renderings and a lovely aged patina on the finish. From an estate in San Francisco, CA.
