A well-executed group of framed Chinese paintings on porcelain plaques depicting traditionally garbed figures consisting of one medium sized plaque with a young woman serving tea to a elderly scholar signed with a red seal mark middle left, and a group of 4 additional plaques each with 2 figures in various poses. Each of the pieces seems to be by the same artist. The paintings are complemented by Chinese characters in the margins. The group retains its original framing. Circa 1930.
