For your special garden Here's the only hand-carved antique granite stone Korean Pagoda we have had the pleasure of owning- a superb and desirable garden treasure from Korea. This is a rare and finely crafted hand-carved seven tiered pagoda carved from granite. It dates in the early 20th century. Quality: Good condition with finely carved lotus bulb top and seven tiered roof line all in very nice condition with an attractive dark and lichen patina. Substantial dimensions: 25 inches high and 9.5 inches wide Provenance: collected in Korea in the 1960s. These rare stone sculptures were originally found in temples and private palaces there and are no longer available. Hand-carved. Dark old patina. Shortly following the declaration of the Korean Empire in 1897, the dynasty ended with the Japanese annexation in 1910.
