This old Eighteen Arhats Worship the Buddha Wood Sculpture is a very exquisite unique art, the so-called "Arhat" is actually a Buddhist concept, with the meaning of killing thieves, offering, and having no life. It is the highest fruit place for the disciples of Buddha to practice. It is said that they have completely transcended the shackles of pain and the earth, broken away from the cycle of reincarnation, overcome greed, hatred, ignorance and other troubles, reached nirvana, and become the saints of Buddhism.
The "eighteen Arhats" refer to the eighteen Arhats who are closest to the Buddha. They are important figures in the Buddhist doctrine, with extraordinary wisdom and compassion.
