Erotic kris hilt showing a naked smiling couple, the male figure supporting the female in an acrobatic upside down position exposing her genitals. Bali, Indonesia, circa 1900. This amusing erotic carved kris hilt, depicts a short legged, long torso couple with stylized feature that bring to mind Picasso's figures from the early 20th century that were influenced by his collection of ethnographic art. The carving of the hair is beautifully rendered. A small sculpture in its own right, with a warm patina from use.
