This is a hard to find red and ebony finely cast effigy pair (2)
of tall "moon gazing" rabbits usagi with attractive black ebony and dark red patinas ,circa early last century.
This pair was sourced from a large American collection this past year.
They are surely from a top Japanese maker.
Handsome and heavily hand cast.
Dimensions: Big, 8.5 inches tall and 3.75 inches length and 4.5 inches deep
