Set of Three Terracotta Court Ladies in Han Style

About the Item

A set of beautiful terracotta court ladies in the Han dynasty style. Featured are governesses whose jobs are to train the ladies of the house all manners and etiquette, as well as the maids and servants proper ways of service. They are dressed in traditional high-waist dress with hair done in a way that presents authority and commands respect. Facial features painted in black ink are consistent with the beauty aesthetics of the era. Robes with floral patterns and petals painted between eye brows are typical of the era.
