Pair French 19th Century Baroque Style Patinated Bronze Cherub Chenets Andirons

About the Item

Pair of French 19th-20th century baroque style patinated bronze figural chenets (Andirons). Each chenet topped with a cherub standing on a stand flanked by styrs and royal goat-heads above a scrolled plynth surmounted with two cherubs, a pair of dragons and centered with a crowned maiden, all in the Renaissance style. Circa: 1900. Measures: Height: 37 1/4 inches (94.6 cm) Width: 22 inches (55.9 cm) Depth: 9 1/2 inches (24.1 cm).
