About the Item

Table, copper and wood from Price Tower designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, 1956. The table showcase the Japanese influence present throughout Wright’s career and has a beautiful patina featuring the same patinated copper as the exterior panels of the Price Tower. The table has origami-like bent copper legs in the same spirit of the building and there were only 20 produced. The tables were in the executive suites, the 16th floor commissary and used by Harold & Carolyn Price at their Hillside residence also designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Frank Lloyd Wright's only realized skyscraper, Price Tower continues to be one of the most compelling and inspired projects in his long career.
