About the Item
A fine quality Gothic Revival fireplace carved in statuary marble. The spandrels with finely carved holly and berries. Octagonal suspended capitals under moulded shelf. The centre with small carved dove holding an olive branch. Very good quality Italian marble. English of the late Regency period, circa 1835. Provenance available.
