Very Fine Quality Polished Steel Firegrate in the Georgian Manner
About the Item
A very fine quality polished steel firegrate in the Georgian manner. The delicately pierced fret with engraving throughout, the tapering legs with flutes, engraved paterae and finials. The side wings with engraving and beading surmounted by urn finials. The large shaped cast fireback with oval motif. English, 19th century.
