Antique Neoclassical Style Pine & Composition Fire Mantel

About the Item

An antique Neoclassical style painted pine and composition fire mantel, sourced from a £13 million house in Hampstead, London. This 19th century fireplace would make a stunning new feature for a period property, particularly of Neoclassical or Regency style. Dating from circa 1890, it is evocative of classic fireplaces of the earlier Gerogian period with its even proportions of a square nature. The Neoclassical style frieze panel and corner blocks are highlighted by gold leaf decoration, adding grandeur and prestige to this impressive fire surround.
